I started creating furniture and cabinetry when my wife and I moved into our home that needed a bit of love. To fill the home, I decided to build all our furniture and cabinet renovations from scratch.

While transforming an empty former rental house into an updated cozy home, I fell in love with the process of converting sustainably sourced rough urban lumber into the centerpiece of a room. Once our home was complete, I wanted to keep building. Luckily, our friends and neighbors began asking if I could build them a table; or a desk; or create custom cabinetry for their kitchen renovation. Over time, I began taking commissions from friends-of-friends, and soon thereafter from their friends as well. I still operate exclusively by word of mouth.
